VoxNations has the capacity to conduct a variety of telephone surveys in Iraq, using local call centers in addition to its two advanced calling centers in Toronto, Canada.
Telephone (Phone CATI) Surveys:
VoxNations has extensive experience in conducting survey research in Iraq and is unparalleled in its expertise to adjust various questions, even those of that evoke sensitivity, to local conditions.
VoxNations is also unique in that unlike most other fielding agents who only use interviewers fluent in Arabic, which is the native language of around 75% of Iraq’s current population, it uses interviewers fluent in 3 additional vernaculars (Kurdish, Turkmen, and Syriac) of various regions in Iraq.
Considering that Iraq is a multi-ethnic and a multilingual country, using interviewers proficient in local languages and dialects allows VoxNations to effectively communicate survey questions and accurately record obtained responses. It also allows VoxNations to achieve excellent response and cooperation rates.
Phone survey is an extremely strong mode of data collection in Iraq since approximately 90 percent of Iraq’s population have access to mobile telephone and this already high coverage rate is expected to increase as Iraqi mobile telecommunication firms expand their operations into more remote areas. It is needless to say that since access to landline telephone is drastically less widespread and far less equally distributed than mobile telephone, VoxNations’ telephone surveys in Iraq are conducted via mobile.
