Telephone (Phone CATI) Surveys:

As a standard practice, VoxNations fields all surveys in Afghanistan in both Dari and Pashto languages to minimize potential language barriers and facilitate a more pleasant interviewing experience. Considering that Afghanistan is a multi-ethnic and a multilingual country, using interviewers proficient in local vernaculars allows VoxNations to effectively communicate survey questions and accurately record obtained responses. It also allows VoxNations to achieve excellent response and cooperation rates.  

Phone survey is an effective mode of data collection in Afghanistan since approximately 90 percent of Afghanistan’s population live in locations where mobile telecommunication services are available and almost all households living in areas that have mobile coverage, have at least one member with a mobile phone.

It is needless to say that since access to landline telephone is effectively negligible in Afghanistan, VoxNations’ telephone surveys in Afghanistan are conducted via mobile.
